On Monday 13 September a new meeting was held among the Partners of the “DXB – Identities on the move” European project. This was an important moment for exchanging ideas and planning the next phases of the Project. The agenda was very rich and several issues were addressed including the organization of the Final Conference scheduled for 23 and 24 June 2022 (here, the Save the date), the drafting of the Commentary on the Regulation (EU)2016/1191 and the Comparative Survey.
In addition, the Call for Papers & Panels was launched in view of the Conference in June 2022 to ensure the widest participation and quality of speakers and discussants as well as the variety of topics and issues. We encourage applicants to submit proposals for papers and panels on a topic relating to the conference theme and strongly related to the Regulation 2016/1191. Here you can find the Call for papers, the template to send the abstracts and all the useful information to stay updated on the Conference.
Finally, the next closest event of the Project was discussed, the Verona Roundtable, scheduled for 18 November 2021 (see the Events section). The event will be held in person, in compliance with current health safety regulations, and will also be broadcast online. Onsite participants will need a Covid-19 digital certificate (Green Pass), or equivalent certificate recognized by the Italian authorities. The certificate will be read at the entrance in the conference venue. All accesses will be tracked to keep the full list for at least 14 days. For more information of the Covid-19 digital certificate (Green Pass) please click here.
Working languages of the conference will be EN, DE, IT. It will be an important opportunity for discussion with European and international experts.
