European Association of Registrars
The association unites ten European countries. These include: Belgium, Germany, Estonia, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Scotland, Slovakia and Slovenia. There are lively contacts with other European countries, such as Austria and Switzerland.
One of the objectives of the EVS is to draw attention to the increasingly diverse problems of nationally different rules and regulations in the field of (international) personal and family law, nationality law and civil status through intensive cooperation at different levels, and to agree on declarations. With this we try to make it easier for civil servants to deal with these rules and regulations.
